Campos-Pons Performed at Guggenheim Museum April 2014

As part of her retrospective exhibition, Carrie Mae Weems: Three Decades of Photography and Video, at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, Carrie Mae Weems hosted “Carrie Mae Weems LIVE: Past Tense/Future Perfect,” a weekend of programs April 25-27, 2014, focusing on contemporary cultural production in the areas of dance, film, literature, music, theater, and visual art. This multidisciplinary performance-salon featured musicians, artists, activists, writers, and other renowned guests throughout a three-day celebration of spirit and ideas. One of the invited artists was Prospective artist Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons (FeFa), who led a procession on Sunday, April 27.
