Six-Week Residency for McCauley at Getty Research Institute
Prospectus artist Robbie McCauley (More SUGAR) was awarded a six-week residency in May and June 2014 by the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles, during which time she used the Institute’s archives to conduct research for her upcoming book.
Since 1985 ,the Getty Research Institute has welcomed scholars, artists and other cultural figures from around the world to work at the Institute on projects that bear upon its annual research theme. While in residence, they pursue their own research projects, make use of Getty collections, and participate in the intellectual life of the Getty Center and the Getty Villa. The Institute’s current theme is “Connecting Seas: Cultural and Artistic Exchange.”
