Liz Chalfin Work Part of Environmentally Responsible Print Practice Exhibition through April 2
Zea Mays Printmaking Director Liz Chalfin demonstrated safer etching techniques and participated in a panel discussion during the “Environmentally Responsible Print Symposium” on February 26 at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Liz’s work also is included in the accompanying exhibition at the University Museum, titled SHIFT: Environmentally Responsible Print Practice Exhibition, which is on view through April 2.
The one-day symposium is being held to facilitate a network for the sharing and dissemination of information that will promote an ongoing dialogue and continued advancements in the field. Liz and six other Zea Mays members produced the Prospectus project [substratum] An Artistic Inquiry into Printmaking Substrates and their Health Impacts.
