McCauley Directs Local Reading of “Body & Sold” Nov. 16

A reading of Deborah Lake Fortson’s documentary play, Body & Sold, directed by Prospectus artist Robbie McCauley (More SUGAR) will occur at Charlestown Working Theater Monday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m.

Subtitled “The Sex Trafficking of American Youth,” the play reading will be followed by a talkback with Detective Sergeant Donna Gavin and detectives from the Human Trafficking Unit, Boston Police Department; GIFT Program Director, Kelly Lewis and Life Coach Shannon Rodgers from Roxbury Youthworks, Inc.; and M. Gabriela Torres, Associate Professor of Anthropology Wheaton College. The reading is being presented by Tempest Productions and Sleeping Weezel.

The reading will be free of charge. Charlestown Working Theater is located at 442 Bunker Hill St., Charlestown.
