Donations Requested for Ashland Memorial Healing Garden

Posted in News

In May 2017, vandals destroyed several colored plexiglas panels in the roof of the Ashland Memorial Healing Garden, part of Prospectus artist Dan Borelli’s Illuminating Futures project, which he created in response to the Nyanza Superfund site, the toxic contamination of water and soil in Ashland and the surrounding area by the Nyanza Chemical Colorant Plant. The Arts Company is helping Dan and the Ashland Citizens Action Committee (ACAC) by collecting donations to restore the plexiglas panels and to establish a fund to prevent or mitigate any future damage to the Garden from natural or human causes.

Towards that end, checks may be sent to The Arts Company, 43 Linnaean St., Suite 25, Cambridge, MA 02138. Please add “Ashland Memorial Garden” to the memo line of your check. You may also make donations through The Arts Company’s PayPal account by going to the Prospectus home page and clicking on the DONATE button on the righthand side of the page.

All donations will be tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by a letter from The Arts Company to that effect. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide for the restoration and continued maintenance of the Ashland Memorial Healing Garden.
