“Location Is Everything” by Mel Chin

On Thursday, February 15, at 6:30 p.m., Prospectus artist Mel Chin will speak on “Location Is Everything” at The Katharina Otto-Bernstein Screening Room, Lenfest Center for the Arts, Columbia University, 615 W. 129 St., NY, NY. Check-in will begin one hour prior to start time. Seating is limited and first come, first served. Advance registration may be made at this link, but does not guarantee seating; early arrival is suggested.

Chin will make this presentation in advance of his multi-location exhibition, Mel Chin: All Over the Place, co-produced by the Queens Museum and No Longer Empty. The exhibition will span nearly four decades of Chin’s malleable and wide-ranging approach to artistic practice. Exhibition sites in New York City include the Queens Museum, Times Square, and the Broadway-Lafayette subway station.
