Each Monday from February 12 and through March 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Prospectus artist Robbie McCauley (More SUGAR) is teaching an acting workshop titled “McCauley: Playing the Self, Playing the Other” at the renowned HB Studio in NYC,  originated by Herbert Berghof and Uta Hagen.

“For actors who want to make their own work, using acting as their source. Expand your ability to shape language for performing subjects that matter to you; deepen your vocal and body connections; collaborate with others; and explore possibilities to play characters other than ones you are likely to be cast for — ones that you yearn to play. Robbie states, ‘I began teaching actors to tell stories, and since teaching requires learning, I began daring to write pieces I could perform from the actor’s point of view.'”

According to co-founder Hagen, “as an artistic and working home, the Herbert Berghof Studio offers an outlet for practice and growth for the professional theatre artist, and an opportunity for the young to establish roots in their intended craft. The Studio’s guiding principle is creative freedom, which has as its logical consequence responsibility to a noble art. has been a longterm home for actors, writers and others interested to learn and nurture theatre arts.” It is located at 120 Bank St., New York, NY.
