New Book Co-Edited by Krupczynski
Just published: Civic Engagement in Diverse Latinx Communities: Learning from Social Justice Partnerships in Action. The book is co-edited by Mari Castañeda and Prospectus artist Joseph Krupczynski (both UMass Amherst) and published by Peter Lang (2018).
This new volume “explores collaborative and transformative civic engagement by scholar-activists from an array of disciplines that are working in diverse Latinx communities across the US. The book demonstrates that personal experiences can be powerful tools for the production of new knowledge, and that social justice approaches to community-university praxis can provide new models for how to engage with diverse communities in the twenty-first century.”
